Our Scanner has different software than the “Rapid Scanner” which looks very similar to ours and is part of the newer photo kiosks at the big box retailer or chain stores.

One thing most of those retailers don’t know, and customers will find out (unfortunately) the hard way is their scanners need cleaning to avoid streaks and smudges on their do-it-yourself scanning stations,
and also probably won’t be prompted to have customers clean their photos before scanning either. I wouldn’t predict the stores will be cleaning the scanners after each customer comes in to use them.

The prices we are charging per scan is very competitive with these places, but our customers are getting much more bang-for-the-buck, as these are our own pieces of equipment we are taking the best
care of while treating our clients photos with the same care and consideration as our own (or sometimes even more care!) It comes back to our high-touch service and knowledge our clients find when entrusting us with their precious images, and appreciation of wanting to help preserve the stories behind the photos we scan.

We signed up with Arbonne because we knew the products were good and I absolutely loved the Personalizer compact! It takes and keeps the shine away from your face like nothing I’ve every used before. It really is a great product and it works so amazingly with portrait sessions!

For the past 4 days, I’ve been using the NutriMinC RE9 Body Serum and Lotion set and let me tell you, it’s such an awesome product! My hands and feet have been really dry the past several years and no amount of lotion has been able to help. My hands were literally cracking from dryness and because of that they were really starting to look aged and wrinkled.

The first day I used the Serum and Lotion set I noticed that I didn’t even need to reapply lotion for the entire day even after washing my hands several times. That was pretty amazing for me! Last night, as I was brushing my teeth I saw the top part of my hands in the mirror and as I examined them closer I noticed that they didn’t look aged and wrinkled anymore! Unbelievable — no?!?! I wouldn’t have believed it myself if it hadn’t happened me!

All I can say now is … you have to try it to believe it.  I actually had this set sitting on my shelf for over 2 months before I even tried it. Why? Because I wasn’t sure I believed all those other people who had stories about their amazing results with this stuff! It is sooooo well worth trying!

This weekend I photographed the Kin Family. They are a wonderful family full of hope and love.

Here’s a little recipe for the Holidays… I promised this to alot of people … so here it is … ENJOY!!!

Unbaked Powdered Cookie Rolls

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
4 Tblsp Butter

3 cups Quick Oats
6 tsp Cocoa
1tsp Vanilla

Powdered Sugar

Instructions:

• Combine sugar, milk & butter in heavy saucepan.
• Bring to a boil. Boil for 1-1/2 minutes.
• Take from stove.
• Stir in oats, cocoa & vanilla. Stir well.
• Drop in medium sized balls on wax paper.
• Let cool enough to touch.
• Roll in powdered sugar.
